An open invitation to the pilgrims of the Shrine of Fatima
Starting July 16, until September 15

 
This is an initiative planned by the Reception and Information Section of the Department of Pilgrim Service, and it is held during the time period of July 16 thru September 15, Monday thru Saturday, except on August 12, 13, 15 and September 12, 13.
Not needing reservation, “A Day during Pilgrimage” is being held at the Shrine of Fatima again this year.
It begins at the ‘heart’ of the Shrine of Fatima – the Little Chapel of Apparitions – and it is an invitation to pilgrims who want to know, thru a guide, the sites, history and message of Fatima.
 
This project, besides the viewing of videos and the visit to the main sites related to the apparitions, includes also some moments for prayer.
 
 
Schedule of activities for ‘A Day of Pilgrimage’:

Monday through Friday:
10h15 – A salute to Our Lady, in Little Chapel
10h30 – Gathering next to ‘Azinheira Grande’ (large Holm-oak);
              Visit to the Shrine
12h00 – Rosary in Little Chapel
12h30 – Mass in Little Chapel
15h00 – Showing of video, in Room under North Colonnade
16h00 – Departure by bus from First-Aid Station to visit Valinhos and Aljustrel
18h00 – Return to Shrine with stop at Bus Depot.
21h30 – Rosary in Little Chapel and Candlelight Procession
Saturday:
10h00 – Rosary in Little Chapel
11h00 – International Mass in Most Holy Trinity Church
12h15 – Gathering near the front door of Most Holy Trinity Church; Visit to the Shrine
15h00 – Showing of video in Room under North Colonnade
16h00 – Departure by bus from First-Aid Station to visit Valinhos and Aljustrel
18h00 – Return to Shrine with stop at Bus Depot
21h30 – Rosary in Little Chapel and Candlelight Procession
