Some Portuguese cab drivers are going to give to some pilgrims a free ride to the Shrine of Fatima, on Saturday October 23. The offer is intended mostly for elderly people living in rest homes.
The initiative is being promoted and organized by ANTRAL (National Association of Road Transport in Passenger Cars) as a day of solidarity.
Mass, in which the departed cab drivers will be remembered, will be celebrated at 13h00 in Most Holy Trinity Church.
After Mass, taxis and their drivers will be blessed at Parking Lot #12, at 14h00.
