| The theme for ‘Days of Social Communication’, promoted by the Catholic Church, is “Republic – Communication – Church”. The National Secretariat for Social Communication is in charge of the organization of the event which is held this year at the House of Our Lady of Sorrows, in the Shrine of Fatima, on September 23/24. Topics will be: The Role of Social Communication at the beginning of the XX century; Truth and Lies in the Information about the relationship between Church and Republic; and The Relation between Church and Republic Today, namely in what regards the exercise of communication. The Days are for all the agents of communication connected to organizations of Christian inspiration or for others who deal with news and questions related to the Church. |
